____ Overall Experience: The Pampered Pooch wants to ensure that your pet has a wonderful experience. However, it's important to know that all pets can react differently to their grooming experience. If your pet does not respond well, please know an extra handling fee may be applied. Please be honest and upfront about any temperament/medical issues your pet may have. The better informed we are, the better we can serve you and your pet. The Pampered Pooch is not liable for any reactions that a pet may have to their experience, Medical or temperamental. Nail clipping and ear hair pulling, although part of your groom is done on a case by case basis.
_____Matted Dog: Dogs with matted coats require extra attention. If the matting in minimal and the pet responds well, de-matting will be done for an extra fee. However, if the matting is severe; we will attempt to remove all matting in the quickest, most painless, stress less option as possible. This also, requires an extra fee. Please know that any service of de-matting can cause skin irritation, nicks, scratching. In addition, the skin may appear red, itchy, flakey, due to the lack of oxygen to the skin from the mats. The Pampered Pooch is not responsible for any injury occurred from the de-matting process. This includes, but is not limited to, itching, redness, swelling, and self-inflicted abrasions due to external rubbing. A de-matting fee of $15/hour may be applied to the removal of mats.
____Puppy Haircuts: The Pampered Pooch likes to keep puppy haircuts as stress less as possible. We strive to make your little ones first haircut as wonderful of experience as we can. Please know that puppies can be scared & wiggly until they get used to the grooming process. We will try our best to complete the grooming process, however, we will use our own discretion as to what your pup is up for. Unless there is excessive hair in the ear, I will not pull the ear hair their first visit.
____Accidents: The Pampered Pooch will make every effort to groom your pet safely. However, accidents do happen from time to time. Dogs can be wiggly, itchy, biting/licking. Grooming tools can be very sharp, and mishaps can happen. The Pampered Pooch will notify you of any mishap, no matter how minor. In the event of a severe mishap you will be contacted immediately; however, we will take the necessary measures to get your pet the medical attention he/she requires. The Pampered Pooch is not responsible for any medical costs.
____Complaints: If you are unhappy for any reason, please notify us. We pride ourselves on customer/groomer communications. If you are unhappy with your groom, please notify us within three days of your visit. We will always attempt to remedy the situation and notes will be taken. After all this is your pet and you know what you like!
_____ No Show Appointments: If you are unable to keep an appointment, kindly give 24 hours notice. If you "no show" you will be charged half the price of the grooming fee. If you have chosen not to keep a card "on file" your fee will be added to your next grooming, and you will be asked to pay for both the fee and your current groom. Cancelations made the morning of an appointment will be considered a “no show” and you will be charged the "no-show" fee of half the amount of your grooming service. If you no-show you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of half the price, plus tax at the time you schedule your appointment in order to hold the spot. You will also be required to keep a card on file, If you come to your appointment your deposit fee will be deducted from the total cost of your grooming fee. There will be no refund for any missed pre-paid appointments.
Please Know that we work on 100% commission. An empty spot results in loss of income.
-----Late Cancellations: Please give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel. Late cancelations given after 6:00pm and after the night before your groom are subject to a fee of half the price of the scheduled grooming for any appointments unable to be filled.
_____Late Appointments: If you are 10 minutes late, with no communication you will be charged a $5.00 late fee. Anyone 15 or more minutes late will need to reschedule. What may look like chaos is a tightly run ship! Communication if you are running late is highly appreciated.
_____Late Pick Up: Customers who cannot pick up their pet at the time given will then be expected to pick up by the end of the day. No pet shall be left after closing (please see hours of operation). Any dog not picked up at the time of closing will be charged a boarding fee as follows: the first 15 minutes is $10.00, each additional 15 minutes is $5.00. You don’t want to sit at work after closing and neither do we!
_____Veterinary Requirements: I understand, and acknowledge that if my dog has not been immunized against Bordetella, fleas & ticks, both which are HIGHLY recommended, that The Pampered Pooch shall not be held responsible for the contracting of kennel cough or fleas/ticks from other dogs. It is mandatory that your pet be up to date on all their shots.
_____Early Pick-up Please know that if you come before your scheduled pick-up time, or before you are automatically contacted your dog may not be ready. Due to the excitement of seeing you we may not be able to finish your groom. In an attempt to keep your pet calm and safe you may be asked to wait in your car or come back depending on the situation. No refunds shall be given on the haircut in this situation.
____Anal glands are not a part of any of the grooming packages, please know that we will do your dog’s anal glands upon request for a charge of $5.00 added to your grooming package.
____Lastly, I understand that while in the care of The Pampered Pooch, my dog will be treated like family. This may include kisses and hugs.
It is our policy not to give treats as we cannot ensure a dog’s response to them. (upset stomach, allergies, etc.)

I hereby release The Pampered Pooch and all associated parties of any and all liabilities for injuries to myself, my pet, and/or any other property of mine which may arise from any services or products provided by The Pampered Pooch. I understand that payment, in full is due at the time of pet pick up. Furthermore, should I be invoiced I agree to pay within 24 hours or a 25% fee of the service will be added to my bill.
